The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on this website www.theengravingworkshop.co.uk and www.theengravingworkshop.com.

This agreement applies as between you, the User of this Website and The Engraving Workshop Ltd, the owner of this Website.  Your agreement to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of the Website. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you should stop using the Website immediately.

No part of this Website is intended to constitute a contractual offer capable of acceptance.  Your order constitutes a contractual offer and our acceptance of that offer is deemed to occur upon us sending a confirmation email to you indicating that your order has been received.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all information is correct in terms of product ordered, options selected and text entered.  We will produce the layout as to how we deem most appropriate according to the information you have given us, including any special instructions. We will not accept responsibility for spelling mistakes or grammatical errors, please check carefully that you are happy with your design before submitting.  *if you choose to see a proof, we will not begin to process your order until you have approved it.

If you need very specific text sizes or layouts, please contact us or use the ‘additional comments’ section to provide us with more detailed information.  If what you have detailed is not possible or requires more clarification, we will not proceed with the job until we have made contact.

Due to visual representations on the website, please be aware that any colours, designs, line positioning and sizes may differ from that shown on the website from the real products.  Many of the products are natural materials which do vary from one piece to another.

On receipt of your order we will send you a confirmation email, followed by a proof (if required). 


Our standard charge for a logo is priced at £25.00 and will be produced to the best of our ability using the artwork provided.  If the artwork supplied is deemed to be unsatisfactory, we will contact you to discuss the options.  Generally a re-submission of artwork or a refund will resolve the situation. 

Certain circumstances may mean we need to increase the cost of the logo generation and in this instance we will contact you before beginning the job.


Orders taken via this website are handled by Secure Trading and your card details will not be stored.  You also have the option to pay using PayPal.


We aim to dispatch orders within 5-7 working days. Please note that this is the dispatch timeframe and not delivery within 5-7 working days. If for any reason we are unable to achieve this time frame we will endeavour to contact you and you will be offered an alternative product or a full refund.
If we receive no communication from you within 24 hours of delivery, regarding any problems with the goods, you are deemed to have received the goods in satisfactory condition and with no problems. If you have qualified for free delivery your order will be sent either 1st or 2nd class Royal Mail so please do take this into account for for your expected delivery date. Royal mail can sometimes take 5 days to deliver items but they are usually delivered next day. If you have requested that your order be treated as 'urgent' it will still be sent by royal mail unless you choose to pay £8 for courier delivery


We use DPD and UK mail couriers and charges are as follows:

UK Mainland: £8.00 + VAT

UK Offshore, Channel Islands & Highlands: £12.00 + VAT (some areas/locations/post codes may be more)

Returns Policy

The Engraving Workshop Ltd aims to always provide high quality goods that are fault free and undamaged.  We do not accept returns on items that have been personalised to the customer’s requirements.  In the event of damaged goods, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt of your order.


The Engraving Workshop Ltd reserves the right to cancel purchases without stating reasons, for any reason prior to processing payment and dispatch.
You may cancel your order at any time prior to engraving. Once the design work has begun, cancellation will be subject to a minimum charge of £15 + vat.

International Customers

Please contact us to arrange delivery.

If Goods are being ordered from outside The Engraving Workshop Ltd’s country of residence, import duties and taxes may be incurred once your Goods reach their destination.  Mastergrave Ltd. is not responsible for these charges and we undertake to make no calculations or estimates in this regard.  If you are buying internationally, you are advised to contact your local customs authorities for further details on costs and procedures.  As the purchaser of the Goods, you will also be the importer of record and as such should ensure that your purchase is in full compliance with the laws of the country into which the Goods are being imported.  Please be aware that Goods may be inspected on arrival at port for customs purposes and The Engraving Workshop Ltd cannot guarantee that the packaging of your Goods will be free of signs of tampering.

Intellectual Property

All Content included on the Website, unless uploaded by Users, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sound clips, video clips, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software is the property of Mastergrave Ltd our affiliates or other relevant third parties.  By continuing to use the Website you acknowledge that such material is protected by applicable United Kingdom and International intellectual property and other laws.

Changes to the Service and these Terms and Conditions

The Engraving Workshop Ltd reserves the right to change the Website, its Content or these Terms and Conditions at any time.  You will be bound by any changes to the Terms and Conditions from the first time you use the Website following the changes.  If The Engraving Workshop Ltd is required to make any changes to Terms and Conditions relating to sale of Goods by law, these changes will apply automatically to any orders currently pending in addition to any orders placed by you in the future.

Availability of the Website

The Service is provided “as is” and on an “as available” basis.  We give no warranty that the Service will be free of defects and / or faults.  To the maximum extent permitted by the law we provide no warranties (express or implied) of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of information, compatibility and satisfactory quality.

The Engraving Workshop Ltd accepts no liability for any disruption or non-availability of the Website resulting from external causes including, but not limited to, ISP equipment failure, host equipment failure, communications network failure, power failure, natural events, acts of war or legal restrictions and censorship.

Third Party Rights

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall confer any rights upon any third party.  The agreement created by these Terms and Conditions is between you and The Engraving Workshop Ltd.
